Within an instant, Kai's entire plan changed. He would have to keep himself and the husk alive long enough for the SSS-Rank to find him. Then he'd have to flee at the last moment, creating as much space between him and the Moss Dragon as possible.
Then he'd just have to hope he was far enough away that the beast's aura didn't crush him.
For now, the first task was to survive the Klagorn. He had a really unfortunate stroke of luck that the entire surrounding foliage had burned away. A Klagorn loves hunting in open fields, as that's ironically where its stealth worked the best. Since its stealth hinged on its ability to be completely silent, it worked best when there wasn't any foliage to interrupt it.
Due to his Komodo's Eyes, the situation was even worse as he couldn't see stationary or slow-moving objects well. With the lack of foliage, he'd basically be a sitting duck.
Begrudgingly looking at the husk, he knew what needed to be done.
