Conquering the Mythos: Reincarnated with SSS Rank Skill Corruption

Shortly after the challenge ended, the wisps led everyone into a small clearing in the woods. Kai had to carry Amyla, as she couldn't find the will to move. When he picked her up, Amyla whispered, "Sorry."

Luckily, no beast attacked them on his way to the clearing. In fact, it seemed as if the woods were now entirely empty.

'Was every part of this challenge premeditated? Could he have seriously taken away all the beasts that weren't historia...'

Some foolish part of Kai almost refused to believe that Hido would do that, even though he knew the truth now. They weren't creating students or even tamers. They were creating soldiers.
