More Threats

When I woke up, of course, Milo was gone. I wanted to be disappointed but then I realized the spot next to me on the bed was still warm.

Milo had stayed the night for the first time. I couldn't fight off the smile that was slowly forming on my face. It was wiped off when I remembered the events of the brunch Tatiana had invited me to.

Milo swore he wanted to know who had been harassing me but little did he know, it was the love of his life. I couldn't compete with Tatiana and I wasn't even going to try.

In a somber mood, I headed out of my room and went straight to the kitchen. Imagine my shock when I saw Milo sitting there casually drinking coffee.

He was dressed in a crisp suit with a jacket on this time. His tattoos were barely visible in his full suit. I could tell he was on his way to a corporate meeting even while he had bruised knuckles and cuts all over his face.
