112. The Aftermath of the Bye Bye Energy Bomb

Nytri turns back to the divine realm, she flies to the edge of the explosion and observes. Before her is a vast space of emptiness unlike she has ever seen before. Before her is a space with the upper part being white and the lower part being black. Nytri flies towards the space and moves her hand into it.

"This is nothingness?" Nytri speaks feeling nothing with her hand inside. She observes and notices something strange. Although tiny, EP is being depleted from her at a snail's pace. She keeps observing, "The vacuum must be filled, so my EP is being absorbed. It's a strange feeling."

"Over there!" a voice comes from behind Nytri and she turns to look at them. Guards arrive before Nytri, "Are you alright? What happened?"

Nytri looks at them with a baffled look, her thoughts. "It's odd how they're concerned." Nytri answers them, "I just got here."

2 more gods arrive, one is a primordial. The primordial looks at the emptiness, "This is awful, what could have caused something like this?"

The next god is a god of divination, "I'll divine and see if I can find the cause." He starts chanting and Nytri raises a brow.

Unfortunately, ONLY a Calamity can detect a Calamity, those present have no idea Nytri is beyond a god. Her wings are what made them think she's a denizen of the divine realm so they never thought her to be the culprit.

The god finished divining, "I see it." He feels a chill down his spine and turns to look at Nytri, his thoughts. "What did I sense?....It can't be her, it must be far from us." He spreads his arms and a screen appears before them saying, "This is what I could divine. As for what caused it I couldn't directly divine it but I got it through people who witnessed everything."

The screen shows what happened before the explosion, in the transport terminal a Mist Beast fills it as it tortures a Pantheon. Nytri observes the screen and learns how it works, she moves into the emptiness and looks at them as they watch the screen.

It shows them to the part Nytri arrives pressing the primordial gods down and giving them to the Mist Beast. They turn to Nytri and see her inside emptiness. The guard grits his teeth, "You…YOU DID THIS!" He readies his weapon, "WHERE IS THAT MONSTER?!" the guard is filled with emotions, his family got caught in it.

The gods pause the screen with their guard up, they just saw Nytri beat 2 primordials as if they were kids. The other guard is also ready to fight, the god divining speaks. "Who are you?"

Nytri taps her chin then she grins, "Nightmare." Her title strikes fear in them and they tremble greatly. Nytri flaps her wings and flies deeper into emptiness, "Catch me if you can." Her thoughts, "I wonder how emptiness will affect them.

The enraged guard charges into emptiness and the primordial tries to stop him but it's too late. He already entered, the guard groans in pain. He starts to lose energy from his body and he shrivels like a leaf before everyone. He died.

The gods look in fear, the divining god jumps back. Then he looks at Nytri as she flies deeper, "How can she be in a place like this and survive?" he trembles. More people start to gather around them and some daredevils jump in to die. They watch the screen as it plays all the events that happened scaring them.

But things are different, this time Nytri uses a box artefact that destroyed everything. Nytri was able to watch the screen due to MAR VISION, she sighs. "Looks like Ivan was too late in changing it. No matter, my objective her is complete. Nothing is left so I caused nothing." She bursts out laughing, she makes a rift before her and flies into it.

2 weeks later in the divine realm, the gods would gather at the edge of the explosion and pour energy into Emptiness. Doing this was reducing it and allowing them to recover the lost space, this endeavor is the only way to restore it but how long will it take? After 2 weeks only a tiny tiny portion is restored.

Nytri's name spread like wildfire in the surviving part of the divine realm even reaching the under(demon) realm. The one word common in their gossip that would always send a chill down their spine even when that person was absent is "NIGHTMARE". This made them all believe that truly a monster of legends is active.

In the divine realm, the surviving gods were discussing the rumors about Nytri. One god asked, "Have you heard the rumors about NIGHTMARE?" Everyone hearing it get goosebumps, the god continues. "They say it's a CALAMITY from the legends. It's so powerful it could beat primordials as if they were paper, it's like the Dragon Calamity! I tell ya!." Drinks booze.

Another old person chips in, "I heard that it's a demon sent to punish us for our sins," looking over his shoulder.

The female bartender knocks his head, "You old fool! You're a god for cryn' out loud. What demon can punish you?"

The old god speaks, "But it is true, it came with it's underling creatures! They say they got angry because people were drinking blood and eating mortals." The Azurians were shown as Variants before evolving, Ivan managed to cover that part.

"Creatures?! HA!" the bartender speaks, "And what creatures could they be? Hmmm?" she's mocking them at this point

"Cursed Creatures!" A crazy man walks up, 'Creatures who are cursed to kill us all!" He waves his arms about his head. The gossip just lost its fun and people start to leave but he continues, "These cursed creatures wander the realms searching, they search, find! And EAT US!!!"

"Yeah yeah yeah," A man says, "We all know you're boring stories." He snickers, "Why don't you run along and eat from the trash."

The crazy man walks up to him and points his finger in the man's nose, "Why don't you make fun when they're tearing you limb from limb." He runs and jumps out the window bring silence to the room.

On earth, followers of gods who died in the 'accident' have been trying to reach their gods. Some go around cutting themselves, making insane amounts of sacrifices even suicide. But no respond from their gods, religions fell out and cults were lost. People ran to other gods for comfort but these gods were terrified to act in public. "...what if…..what if it comes for me" is the only thoughts in their mind.

The people who were taken captive spend eternity in the dimension Nytri made, their howls and blood fill the place. Who knows how long they've been in there? Time moves differently from the real world, they could already be there for a decade, century or even a millennia. But what is common amongst them is, they've all lost hope of escaping.
