The air inside the coffin was stale but tolerable. Li An lay perfectly still, her hands resting lightly over her chest as if in eternal slumber. The darkness was absolute, save for the faint golden glow that flickered sporadically within her mind—the work of Seedee. For any ordinary person, such an environment would be unnerving, even suffocating, but for Li An, it was merely an exercise in patience. And today, patience seemed to be in particularly short supply.
"Seedee," she whispered in her mind, careful not to move her lips and disturb the illusion of death. "I'm bored. Let's write some more codes."
Seedee's voice, as crisp and analytical as always, echoed softly within her thoughts. "Very well. Shall we continue working on the tactical analysis program?"
"Let's refine the movement prediction algorithm," Li An suggested. "It's still too slow to process large-scale formations in real-time."
