Despite traveling on foot, the army of more than five hundred warriors moved with unparalleled swiftness, covering vast distances with relentless endurance. They all move like a blur on top of trees as they traverse the vast forest. Li An followed the army while carrying Alu in her arms. Alu was assigned by Concubine Su to take care of Li An's needs while she went with the army on this expedition. At first, Concubine Su was reluctant to permit her daughter to undergo such a dangerous mission, however, she reluctantly permitted it as she knew that her daughter was needed in this battle.
