After almost a month of traveling and reaching the capital city of the empire, the group then decided to continue after watching the army leave the city. Alu could not help but take another glance at the army and think of her young miss.

"I guess the fate of the young miss and the young general is not connected by marriage." she muttered as she turned around and left the gates followed by Lin Feng and Chen Guang.

The road from Miir to Linhe Village was long, but for Alu, patience was running thin. She had spent too much time away, and the thought of seeing her home again sent an anxious thrill through her chest.

"Sir Lin," she called out, turning to the soldier beside her. "Why don't we just run the rest of the way? We'd get there much faster."
