The Feast

The man walked out of his house, heading toward the inn to find Shin and Vesper. He didn't have much to thank them, but he was a shepherd and he had some rams that looked plump and nice.

He looked at the rising sun, today would tiring, but at least not like last night. On his way out he saw the neighbor's old woman drawing water from the well and called her, "Aunt Sara, I want to throw a big dinner tonight. Can I use your yard?"

"A dinner?" She looked back at him, put the full bucket in her hand down, and approached. "For the knights? They did fight hard last night."

"If not for them that hag would've caused a disaster. I have some decent rams that I want to roast for them." He looked at the back of his house where the sheep were locked, "Four or five outta feed those soldiers well."
