Tel walked to the river and stared, the other two following close behind could see the black tint to the water start to disappear.
As the water became more crystal blue, the three could see a glint coming from the bottom of the river.
Tel went first to take a drink, testing if it was safe, then Vix went ahead, getting on her knees, she pushed her head into the stream trying to catch a glimpse of what was in the water, before surfacing.
"It's a sword!" Vix exclaimed her drenched hair, molding together with frost, "It looks like it's in great shape, you could probably use a new one now, right Whiskey-Jack?"
Looking back at the Ogopogo, he didn't feel like rummaging through the creatures organs to get back his old one, besides he was definitely in need of a good upgrade, "Guess I could use a new sword" he grinned nervously.
"How do we get it out of the water? It must be at least 10 feet to the bottom" he asked, informing the others he didn't know how to swim.
"Hmm" Vix hummed to herself, she was in deep thought trying to think of a solution, "Oh wait! Let's try this."
She reached into her bag and pulled out a rope made from animal sinew. "We can tie this around you and pull you up once you have it" Her positive energy infectious, making him agree to the insane plan.
Once she had finished tying it, she yanked it a couple times to test its strength, almost causing Whiskey-Jack to unintentionally fall into the river.
Readying herself, she gave him the thumbs up to go ahead, he took a few steps into the river, it was deep, and the next second he disappeared, he dropped down to the bottom fast, his body like a rock, scared of running out of air, he quickly felt around and found the sword and yanked on the rope.
Upon resurfacing he noticed the stream began to drag him, moving too strong for Vix and even Tel grabbing the rope with his maw to pull him back in.
Confused as what to do, the stream dragged him by the Ogopogo's tail. Instinctively, he raised the sword from the water, stabbing it
into the tail to stop himself, causing an unexpected message to appear.
