This time, the fear I had was replaced with annoyance. I suddenly remembered another way in dealing ghosts like him. I quickly ran, scrambling to the kitchen. I grabbed a handful of uncooked rice from the pantry, another belief was to throw uncooked rice to ward off ghosts, then returned to face him.

"By the power of Christ I compel you! Go back to where you came from! You... child of the demon!" I chanted, throwing the rice at him recklessly. He was staring at me as if I had finally gone crazy.

"Get back! Get back! You... fucking demon man!" I exclaimed, the last of the rice flinging from my fingers.
