**Flashback - Shopping Trip with Sabrina**
The cool breeze of the boutique’s air conditioning brushed against my skin as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. The dress Sabrina had convinced me to try on was a deep emerald green, its silk fabric flowing gently around me as I turned this way and that, unsure of how I looked.
Sabrina was lounging by the counter, one eyebrow raised as she observed me with a mischievous glint in her eyes. I knew exactly what was coming.
“So, I gotta ask,” she began, her voice low but teasing. “Why hasn’t Lucas marked you yet?”
I froze mid-turn, my heart doing a little flip in my chest. My cheeks flushed with heat as I lowered my gaze to the floor, feeling the telltale heat of embarrassment creeping up my neck. I had known this was coming, but I wasn’t sure I was prepared for Sabrina’s bluntness.
