Elara’s POV
I stood outside Sabrina’s door, practically bouncing with excitement. My heart pounded in my chest as a strange warmth filled me, something that felt too good to be true. I had to tell her. I just *had* to. I had finally been marked by Lucas. Marked! The bond that had been so elusive, so out of reach for so long, was now real. And I wanted to share it with Sabrina, the first person who had ever treated me with kindness, without judgment.
The idea of telling Sabrina about my mark was thrilling, but at the same time, a little daunting. I couldn’t give her all the details—not because I didn’t trust her, but because she was Lucas’s sister. I knew better than anyone that people had a funny way of reacting when you crossed certain lines. Sabrina was family to him, and I didn’t want to cause any friction between them. But still, I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I needed to share this moment with her.
