Holiday V: Learning from a legend

CHAPTER SEVENTY

Oldea had a feeling to her that left me feeling incredibly cautious. There was just this sparkle in her golden eyes, this nonchalant relaxation to her countenance, and then there was the curiosity.

Her scrutinizing gaze bored deep through me as though she was analyzing me down to my core constitution.

It might not be far from the truth, depending on what power subsets she had from being a Bastion of Genesis.

Looking back at Hylosis, the edge of her lips pulled up slightly in a smirk.

“Ah, I see, and as none of you children possess the talent you rightfully sought me out,” Oldea said, making Hylosis nod. She faced me again. “So, explain to me, how do you create your clones?”

Shaking off the feeling of shock, I decided to focus on the present. We could debate the past on another day. M might even be able to help me find some historical records in the library’s archive.
