“You were complimenting my beauty,” Hylosis said, smiling.
I shook my head at him. “Your time on Earth has spoiled you.”
His smile widened. “You wouldn't believe how much. The other day, one of your government agents took me on one of his missions where we had to infiltrate a party in Ibiza.”
I faked a look of jealousy, that may not have been entirely fake. “No one takes me on interesting missions,” I grouched, falsely.
He laughed at my antics, looking truly amused. “From what I was told by your President, you are currently busy on an important mission that will change the world. Maybe when you're done with that, and have completely erased terrorism as much as one man can, even if he's a Bastion… maybe then they will start including you in fun things instead of just day-to-day work and duties.”
I shrugged as I supposed he might be right. “Speaking of important missions, I need your help with something.”
