The whole realm went silent. But soon, silence broke down as a loud screech echoed in the realm. An explosion occurred at the Sky Castle, covering the half broken castle with black smoke. The smoke slowly dissipated, leaving everyone, including myself, in surprise at what we just witnessed.
Piercing through what was once a beautiful and holy castle, a dark and demonic tower appeared. It was so tall and huge that it completely obliterated the whole Sky Castle, destroying the core of the island that made it float in the air. However, because the tower pierced through it from below, it is now hanging in the tower.
"What the heck is that?" I asked Kalgaron. I looked at him, but his face was drained of colors. "Kalgaron?"
Kalgaron gritted his teeth in anger. "That's the Demon Tower. Why is it here?"
"A tower? In a realm?" I asked, but Kalgaron flew straight at the Sky Castle. I felt a strong and enormous killing intent coming from Serpentine as she watched the Demon Tower carefully. 'Are you doing good? Why did you get suddenly angry?'
'Nothing. I'll tell you soon after the war.' She said, leaving me hanging. Damn. These people are making me more confused. But nevertheless, I knew that more trouble was coming. And guess what? I was right.
Millions of demons came out from the tower, rushing straight at the angels and monkeys who were preparing to fight. Soon, the bright realm turned crimson. Every island was burning in fire. Huge smoke slowly covered some islands until they no longer functioned, falling to the realm that leads to Demon World along with its citizens. From the distance, I could hear Kalgaron screaming in anger, calling the King to come down.
"Heavenly King! What is happening? Where are you?!" He roared, but the King didn't answer.
Serpentine tugged her head to me. I glanced at her. "What?"
She smiled. "I found Vivian." A huge grin formed on my face after hearing the good news.
"Where is she?" I asked.
"She is heading inside the Demon Tower." She said. "You have time to catch up to her." She added.
I don't know why she was heading inside, but all I cared about was getting my revenge. I can just leave this place to Kalgaron since I have no connection with this realm nor of their past. Let them take care of the small insects. I will go for the big ones.
"You can go ahead." Serpentine said, leaving me baffled.
"What? Where are you going?" I asked.
She smiled. "I'll deal with these insects so you can focus on your fight with Vivian." Before I could say a word, she charged straight to the battlefield.
I don't need to worry about her. If she said that she will deal with them, then I will trust her. At least I can focus on killing Vivian now. I smiled. I have been longing for this time to come ever since I arrived here in this realm. I didn't even realize that I was emitting a strong killing intent that the demons started chasing after me. But I pushed them away and went straight inside the tower, chasing Vivian.
At last… The time for fun has come.
