"Lord Vazer, you took out my men… and so late at night… isn't this enough?" Javi asked, his cold gaze fixed on Vazer, almost as if daring him to deny the obvious.
"Me? Why would I?" Vazer responded with a shrug, his gaze calm, a faint smile lingering at the edge of his lips as he spoke.
"Laurel was the one who called me here! Who knew that he would collude with you to try and set me up?" Vazer continued, ready to throw any other guard who betrayed him under the bus the second they were mentioned.
