My soul power level 23 as for the source of my second soul ring rock armored titan boa which rumored to have the blood of mountain dragon king a rare non venomous king of snakes among soul beast which give me the soul skill King of Earth allows me continuously heal and restore soul power as long I stand on the ground by absorbing the power of earth so it is worth hunting it although it is hard to kill as it keeps regenerating 

Which not only strengthened my body and enhance its durability but also gave me earth attribute not to mention its strengthening effects on my bloodline so the rumors regarding its bloodline is not entirely groundless with that said although I can't cure my poisoning it can't kill me either which relieves a worry for me and my grandfather

"Soul masters and martial souls are originally one. Whether it is cultivation or adding soul rings, they are all for the purpose of becoming stronger. We call the simple accumulation of these "strengthening" quantities "quantitative change", and the so-called "evolution" is the evolution and sublimation of "quality" achieved after the accumulation of "quantity", which can also be called "qualitative change".

There is no perfect soul master that much is true but I am approaching that direction my first three soul rings opens a lot of possibilities and preliminary tuning of my martial soul laying the groundwork to complete the framework and basis for its evolution when I become a soul saint as the the seventh ring connects the past defined by the previous soul rings and the future represented by next 2 slots to complete its transformation as high quality soul rings are hard to obtain in higher cultivation stages especially if one must also ensure compatibility and give full play to one's martial soul to complete the road to titled douluo which will sublimate my accumulation so the seventh ring is the most important link

When choosing spirit rings for a martial soul it is mainly based on two points attribute and talent

Ideally both should be fulfilled especially at the 7th ring as it represents its completion and not to mention the stability and foundation it will provide moving forward

For beast martial spirits it is relatively straight forward attribute which is its elemental affinity and talent is bloodline in my case I am currently focusing on talent

Stability has been a reason why mutant martial souls are rare alongside second awakening and why martial souls are generally inherited from parents

Martial Soul is an extension of one's own blood and spirit, and can also feed back talent to oneself the generally accepted view in the Soul Master community today is the bloodline theory, which means that bloodline is the root of Martial Soul, and Martial Soul is the manifestation of bloodline.  

It is generally believed that the purer, older, and higher-level the bloodline, the higher the quality and potential of the martial spirit. Bloodline determines the martial spirit, so there are very few dog-blood incidents of raising the wrong child on the Douluo Continent.

If I'm going to evolve my martial soul it is better to be through and comprehensive enough which mainly follows balance school of martial soul development without sacrificing my advantage especially the cost-effectiveness of doing so and not follow it blindly as there are two major schools of soul master development each having their pros and cons 

The Balance School believes that the situations faced by soul masters in battle are complex and changeable, and a soul master must develop in a balanced manner in line with the characteristics of his own martial soul.

The Extreme School believes that each martial spirit has its own characteristics, and they choose their strongest attributes to maximize what their martial spirit is good at.

The two sides argue endlessly about this. The extreme faction believes that omnipotence means mediocrity, while the balanced faction believes that the extreme faction has too many weaknesses.

What I am doing now is just making the ground work smoother a soul ring may add talents to a martial soul but they are just that soul power is the key of turning talent into strength so that when the time comes I won't be helpless and in disadvantage but I also want to have something to rely on as my back bone and turn the tides

Personally I think it is just a matter of priority as all paths lead to the same goal except for special cases not to mention after reaching a certain point of cultivation you need to walk your own path with the foundation you accumulated and built there is no right or wrong only if it is suitable to do so or not after all everyone's perception and understanding is different not to mention bias as practice after all is the criterion for truth not to mention must also take into account one's circumstances 

Taking myself as an example I won't add soul rings from soul beast with poison abilities to strengthen my attributes unless necessary like the seventh ring to avoid complications in my poisoning to strengthen so my soul ring goes for the next best thing which is talent although I aim for gathering elements they are for the sake of improving talent and influencing my attributes to form the foundation to transform my martial soul and complete its preliminary transformation 

At my current cultivation they are more like mutations influenced by soul ring configuration but they are good enough as it means I am on the right direction which I will sublimate in the future turning acquired into innate

After all the main reason why titled douluo is rare on the mainland is lack of knowledge, those that can become Titled Douluo are not only because of their talent, but more importantly, they have formed a relatively complete theoretical system for a certain aspect of cultivation compared to others.

But this theory should only apply to themselves, at most to soul masters whose martial souls are similar to their own, or in other words, those with similar attributes.

What I'm planning to do is create a new theoretical framework which will be the basis for me to walk my own path although there are mistakes in my grandfather's cultivation due to lack of knowledge there is one good thing which is the which is his danzhu which can be regarded as the proto-type of soul core in later generations
