Generally speaking spirits don't usually change much even if there are mutations but bloodline and elemental attributes are usually the key point of this process
There are two ways to go about it bloodline sublimation or element routes not to say they can't go hand in hand but you must pay attention to balance as too much of a good thing is a bad thing
The representative of the former is Yu Xiao gang as his energy intensity or elemental attribute isn't up to par so if there is no special opportunity it's the end of the road
As for the later it's my grandfather Dugu Bo the life level of his spirit isn't up to par with his energy intensity not to say it is low so there's a backlash
Regardless evolution requires a lot of energy and foundation to support it so most common mutations are malignant even if it is benign like Ma Hongjun for example it still suffer from having insufficient foundation and although he solved it in the future it is not deep enough in the bloodline side so it affected his descendants in a way it did stabilize as a Phoenix with evil fire
So cultivation is active participation in the process but you can't deviate to much from the starting point in simple words.
Strengthen the foundation, play to one's strengths and avoid weaknesses, these are the eight words I summed up, I call it the principle of spirit ring attachment.
Be it talent or attribute as their focus they all adhere to this principle as for the danzhu it will be the key to my plan of my cultivation
Blood represents "essence" and soul power represents "qi". The soul represents "god", as the evolution of the martial soul is just the beginning although I don't know much about soul cores the danzhu my grandfather practiced is close to the Chinese inner alchemy or neidan which is a set of practices and theories that aim to extend life and create an immortal spirit.
In other words my path to becoming a God if I push it a step further it will be the way of the golden elixir
My starting point is higher than my grandfather so I can follow through this path and at same time help my grandfather but developing a technique is not my cup of tea not to mention I lack practical experience and background in cultivation
Theory is just a theory and practice is the criterion for truth so having my grandfather verify them can save me a lot of time and detours while also helping him as much as I can
water and fire are conflicting attributes so it is best to add them at the same time to avoid as much complications as possible not to mention how much it would help me to further accelerate my cultivation with yin-yang eyes of ice and fire as a natural mimicry cultivation training field
Although it is not my original plan I want to take an immortal grass to strengthen my bloodline and attributes to give myself a buffer for the fusion of attributes poison in a way is disharmony while earth is stability
Not using resources is a waste not to mention it can hasten the process of evolution among the immortal grass earth dragon golden melon is the most suitable for me
"Strengthen the foundation and cultivate the essence, enhance strengths and avoid weaknesses…"
You see there is a difference between innate and acquired especially in energy intensity for elemental attributes taking this can further allow dragon bloodline and earth attribute to penetrate the origin of my martial soul which is snake and poison and form a yin and yang relationship of mutual generation and restraint to promote its evolution with other elements as the supplement
My grandfather on the other hand is stuck in the path of poisons so he can only dive deeper snake, scorpion, centipede, gecko, and toad are commonly called "five poisons", which is similar to the concept of five elements incorporating their poison on his practice with inner alchemy as the framework to create an technique suitable for himself and base to create my own
Excluding the spirit body which unlocks the potential of the martial soul, a spirit master can only have eight spirit skills at most. Each spirit skill is extremely important and cannot be wasted.
The art of life lies in evolution, and the granting of each spirit skill may become the key for the spirit to open the door of evolution so I have to follow certain templates to accurately guide my martial soul evolution but modify it to suit my needs
Poison is a dangerous attribute to cultivate especially for beast spirits and can only be used as the means to protect my way so introducing elemental attributes is to better control it and for better sublimation in terms of bloodline and elemental attributes
Taking the role of the spirit ring as an example, this thing has a certain guiding effect on the growth of the martial soul, but it cannot essentially change the form of the martial soul.
The spirit skills of a martial spirit are used to demonstrate its own talent. In fact, attributes are serve as the amplifier.
So compatibility is to better inherit the characteristics of the soul beast it is taken from in addition to the soul skills it provides
The essence of cultivation is not only to cultivate essence, energy and spirit, but also to use these three treasures to harmonize the human body.
But even in the timeline after Douluo V, the life planets and planes under the Douluo God Realm, and the cultivation system are indeed becoming more and more complex, and the details of cultivation are also being studied more and more carefully. But even if the soul core has been researched, it is essentially still about increasing the amount of essence, energy, and spirit, without considering the effects of essence, energy, and spirit on the human body.
In this Era the path towards ascension is still possible not just inheriting the throne fortunately there is link between the three in the form of the martial soul and my grandfather happened to have something that could be used as the carrier to fuse them together which could contain his cultivation to re-create the path of golden elixir mentioned in legends in my past life
