Minato Namikaze's choice didn't surprise those who knew the truth. What caught everyone off guard, however, was Jiraiya making the same decision, walking over to Uchiha Yi's side without hesitation.
Moments later, Orochimaru followed, a sly smile playing on his lips.
"You two…"
"What do you take me for?"
Tsunade, slightly behind, was fuming. Seeing her two old teammates switch sides without a word of explanation left her no choice but to follow. She stormed forward, her emotions in turmoil.
Though Uchiha Yi's demeanor often irritated her, his management of Amegakure showed promise. It was thriving under his rule. Unlike the destruction caused by countless wars in the ninja world, Amegakure stood as a beacon of peace and development.
Tsunade hated admitting it, but there was logic in siding with Uchiha Yi. Plus, she had a personal grudge to settle with him.
In a matter of minutes, the legendary Sannin and Minato had aligned themselves with Uchiha Yi.
"Let's go, Kakashi," said Sakumo Hatake.
"Father, you…"
Kakashi was taken aback but quickly understood. His path was already decided. Before leaving Amegakure to fight in the Fourth Ninja War, he had made a pact with Uchiha Yi. Kakashi valued loyalty and principles, so betrayal wasn't an option.
Still, his father's actions surprised him.
"Kakashi, let me teach you something," Sakumo said with a faint smile.

"For centuries, the Six Paths Sage's ninja world has been plagued by war, never knowing true peace. But look at Amegakure under Uchiha Yi's rule. What do you see?"
Understanding dawned on Kakashi, and he silently followed his father to join Uchiha Yi.
"We should join them too," Onoki said, heaving a weary sigh.
The elderly Tsuchikage had lived long enough to recognize the inevitability of surrender. Facing overwhelming power, resistance was futile. Onoki's decision stemmed from pragmatism.
"Let's follow Lady Mizukage," murmured the Mist ninja.
No one was surprised by their allegiance, especially considering Mei Terumi's visible admiration for Uchiha Yi.
One by one, the majority of the ninja present aligned themselves with Uchiha Yi. Soon, only a small group remained undecided.
"Everyone has made their choice," Uchiha Yi said, his gaze settling on Ashura.
"Ninja world peace isn't exclusive to Hagoromo or you. People chose me because they've grown tired of endless suffering."
Ashura remained silent for a moment before responding coldly.
"The masses are ignorant. Their decisions mean nothing. They only see the illusion of peace you've created, but they fail to grasp the dangers hidden beneath."
Hearing this, Uchiha Yi let out a laugh filled with disdain.
"Such arrogance. You claim the world's people are ignorant because they don't bow to your will?"
Ashura didn't respond to the mockery, his expression stoic.
"It's clear there's no reasoning with you. If you wish to ignite another war, so be it," Uchiha Yi declared, his voice cold.
The tension between the two reached its peak.
Uchiha Yi's Sharingan evolved into the six-tomoe Rinnegan. Without hesitation, he unleashed his ultimate eye technique.
"Rinnegan: Realm of Reincarnation!"
In an instant, Ashura and his remaining supporters were pulled into Uchiha Yi's ocular realm. To the onlookers, Uchiha Yi and Ashura vanished from sight.
"Where did they go?"
Confusion spread through the crowd as they struggled to comprehend what had happened. The weight of the situation settled heavily on everyone's hearts.
For most, the battle between Uchiha Yi and Ashura wasn't just a personal clash. The outcome would determine the future of the ninja world.
Even Minato, who had already chosen a side, couldn't suppress his unease.
"Minato, don't worry," Jiraiya said, placing a hand on his shoulder. "If it comes to it, Orochimaru can use the Reanimation Jutsu to bring Naruto back."
Minato's expression darkened.
"Sensei, there's no need to console me. I've accepted the truth. Right now, I just want to know what happened to Kushina at Mount Myoboku."
Jiraiya hesitated but nodded. Together, they left the battlefield, heading toward the Toad Sage's sanctuary.

The new realm was a vast, desolate expanse, devoid of color and life.
Ashura scanned his surroundings, his expression cautious. Then, his gaze locked onto Uchiha Yi's Rinnegan.
"You've awakened the six-tomoe Rinnegan," Ashura said, his voice tinged with surprise.
The power emanating from Uchiha Yi was unmistakable. It was the power of a god.
"I've said all I need to," Uchiha Yi replied, his voice devoid of emotion. "Now, let's settle this once and for all."
Ashura didn't hesitate.
"Very well. Let's see if your so-called peace can withstand my resolve!"
The battle for the fate of the ninja world had begun.
