There's something off with these kids

Dallas, Texas, U.S.A

"There's something off with these kids."

"1st down at the Dallas 33-yard line." The slow baritone of the announcer rang throughout the stadium. I was sitting next to CniDaria in a luxury box seemingly watching a game. Per usual we were working a job.

The past 18 months have been profitable to say the least. These children have developed into professionals in a very short amount of time. They're young and physically they couldn't be at the top of the field just yet, but they had a sense that was second to only myself. Their parents as accomplished as they were, would agree they were more talented than they were at this age. Honestly, it was weird. I was a toddler when I killed my first man, so it was natural for me to see death. However, they were preteens when they killed for the first time. Even then, it was for survival purposes. It makes a huge difference, having morals and seeing peace is something that shapes when you're a toddler. Seeing death and causing death are very difficult things to grasp because our minds and bodies naturally reject it. For CniDaria and Thylonius, that wasn't the case. Whatever they were feeling on the inside about their actions, they were able to compartmentalize and not let it show outwardly in everyday life. That was hard for even fully developed adults. It made my life easier though, I've been able to take on more assignments because of it. They have multiplied my profit tenfold since having them under my wing. Certainly, couldn't complain about that. They just make me a feeling that creeps me out but the money is too loud to do anything about it now.

"How are you enjoying the game?" I speak to CniDaria who's sitting next to me while scanning the luxury box across the stadium from us.

"Not as exciting as I thought it would be, I hit harder then some of the pansies that are in full gear down below"

"How about the atmosphere?"

"The atmosphere is buzzing the college donors behind us, are enjoying the buffet behind us. They're drinking and eating their fill. They don't look to be sitting down anytime soon. The state politicians across from us are sitting down out in the open enjoying the game." Great observations all but one targets are accounted for. Now to implement with the least fuss.

"Nothing is going on with the game, how about you introduce yourself. Make sure not to spill any wine." She nodded and got up from her seat. She took off the heavy hoodie she had on to expose the tight jeans and revealing blouse she had underneath. These past couple of years her body has developed to be curvier and more mature. She's able to pass for grown woman now, men and woman alike have been struck by her beauty. She's used it to her advantage being able to get close and personal with any target she wishes. In combination with her charisma and charm, her tongue is just as deadly as her knife. As I kept my eyes focused on the field, I could hear the conversations in the background get quieter and quieter as the population in the box decreased to just two. I finally got up from my seat to see an abandoned luxury box with only CniDaria standing in front of the buffet sipping on a glass of cranberry juice.

"What happened to all of our friends?"

"Strangest thing they all wanted to meet me in the bathroom, I don't know what they could still be doing in there. I finished washing my hands ages ago." Nicely done, their bodies wouldn't be found till we had long left the state.

"I'm off to pay my respects to the owner, tell Thylonius to wait for the PA announcement of the third quarter to tag our Politicians." She nodded and started texting on her phone. I left her there to head over to the neighboring room. No blood spilled in the area but I noticed a bruise on her left arm and she was favoring her right leg. She got the job done but she wasn't where she needed to be.

I knocked on the door next door and I was met by a bodyguard in a black suit a head taller than me.

"Who's at the door? They know not to interrupt me and my family while my team is playing!" The bodyguard looked menacingly at me trying to intimidate. They were going to have to try a little better than that. I decided to speak for myself.

"The Company is here to share personally the status of your contract." There was a moment of silence coming from the room. Inaudible whispers started to reach my ears. One by one the owner's family started to leave the box passing me on the way out. They all gave me confused stares as the hurried to the luxury foyer.

"Please come in." the bodyguard let me in and closed the door behind me. I made sure not to approach him unless summoned. "Brutus please leave the room as well." Confused and suspicious their bodyguard left the room as well. It was now one on one between me and the owner. "I guess my repeated business, has garnered me personal privileges to hear from senior agents themselves. I can't believe the famous Red 1 would grace me with his presence.

So, he recognized my voice. He wasn't a board member with the company for nothing. "I hope you're going tell me those fuckers across from us can't get taken out. It makes my blood boil just looking at those parasites."

"IT'S THE START OF THE 3RD QUARTER, MAKES SOME NOISE DALLAS!!!" The stadium exploded with cheering. The politicians across from were no different. In succession something flew into each of their mouths one by one and each of them had different reactions. One started coughing aggressively, one started to vomit, and another started to clutch his heart. Nobody around them understood what was happening. Only the luxury box was in a panic trying to get them help.

"I'm just here to report on the completed job. Nothing out of the ordinary, happened at a typical football game." The owners started clapping profusely, smiling ear to ear as he watched the paramedics come and try to save the already dying politicians. I doubt the paramedics on his payroll will do anything real life saving though. I looked up at the jumbotron and saw Thylonius readjusting his position to face us. I better get the ball rolling as well.

"I have to say the tools you picked up have been very useful for you. Made you a lot of money. You might be able to buy yourself a seat at the board at this rate you're going." I guess my intentions are already known by some members already. They don't seem to be trying to stop me, so I must have support. Good to know. "It's almost unfair you get to utilize their talents at little to no cost, that's capitalism for you. It makes this world go round." He laughs to himself, thoroughly enjoying the moment, unaware of me inching ever closer to his seat.

"Well sir, I'm here to serve the Company whatever is needed for the longevity of our work I'm here for it and I'm honored you wanted to meet me." I was now right behind him and I patted him on the shoulder to show my camaraderie with him. He jumped and looked at me nervously, scared out of his wits. He looked at his shoulder sleeve and my hand thinking I had something on it. I looked at him strangely. "Is everything okay sir? You're fidgety. I'm here right now you don't have to be scared someone will hurt you." He put on a nervous smile.

"Haha no I just know your favorite method of finishing jobs and it got me nervous." I gave him a confident smile back to him.

"I assure you sir, if I was coming for you, you would never see it coming." Any mask of smile slowly faded from his face as he realized what was happening. The confident smile I wore never faded as a bullet punctured the window facing the field making very minimal sound and visible cracks. The owner's body slumped over a single tear of blood slid down his face from in between his eyes. "That boy is an amazing shot." I then proceeded to exit the room to see 8 bodies and a pool of blood in the foyer of the luxury suites. CniDaria was wiping off her hunter's knife with Brutus, the bodyguard's tie leaning on the wall facing the massacre with an indifferent look on her face.

"I trust you made the necessary preparation?" She threw the tie on the bodyguard's dead body. His blood wasn't the only thing on his clothes. "Good let's head out then." We walked away from the area and not once did CniDaria flinch. She and her brother were good. However, something about them continue to unnerve me.
