Chapter 17: The pet.

Luna took some steps back all the while making sure Olivia was behind her.

"Am no dog." She said through gritted teeth. She could send this lady was a lot stronger than her, so she need to tried care fully.

The lady just advanced more closer to her and in the next instant she was whispering in Luna's ear.

"Then show me what you got lettle doggy." The lady whispered in her ear, Luna lifted her hand and reached out to grab her with her claws.

"You've got to try harder than that." She said as she returned to were she was standing in the blink of an eye.

This is not good Luna said to herself, cause she can't fight at her full power deu to the fact that Olivia will be caught in the battle she has to act fast if not they are both dead.

"No no no, no time to get distracted, am here to have some fun." The lady as she moved her toes into the ground.

"Run!!!" Luna shouted as she pushed Olivia from the way as the ground cracked and something white zigzag it's way towards her and all of a sudden she was seen nothing other that her self and the lady with a vast emptiness.

"What's this?" Luna asked as she looked around her l. It seems like she was standing on a bubble substance.

"Welcome to my world of illusion." The lady said and suddenly the lady was sitting on a cushion. "Here any illusion I create comes to live and can harm anything in here."

"What do you want from me." Olivia asked her claws drawn out her body muscles tightened.

"Well not me I don't want anything from you but someone wants you and am sure you know who."

"Lucifer?" Luna whispered and a chill came over her.

"Bingo, and of course he wants you alive but it wouldn't hurt to have a little fun with you would it." The lady said pouting her lips.

"Where is Mike?" Am sure one of his pets is having fun with him, and if you must know it's vex and don't worry he was asked to bring him alive too."

Luna was worried who could they possibly send. "What of Zara."

"Enough of this questions," the lady said and suddenly her parents where in front of her.

"Mom, Dad ?" Before she could say anything else they launched at her shape shifting in mid air.

This isn't real Luna said as there blows connected on each side of her face but the pain was very much real. She tried fighting back but her body could not move as she could not bring her self to harm them since she has already cause them enough trouble.

"Come on is that all you've got." The lady said her laughter echoing.

An uppercut from her father sent her crashing to the floor, she could not blame them. She just prayed that Mike would be ok as her eyes closed.

Zara stood in the truck helpless as the cords connected to his body seemed to be sapping all the strength out of him, the cords re attached them selfs to him as fast he he pulls them out.

He tried reaching to the core but it was to far away and he could not call anyone for help as his communication device has stopped working all of a sudden and he knew it was all Geneessis doings.

Suddly there were movements shaking the truck and he could hear the vibrations of a jet then there was a loud sound as if something attaching himself to the truck and the truck was airborne. Zara focused all his strength in his leg kicked send the core flying out the truck at least they won't get him and the core which means they still can recreate more like him. He just hoped that Geneessis won't come across it, but hoping was for humans not the likes of him.

"Sir we have secured subject no.3" one of the agent said as he knelt down with his head bowed.

"Wonderful, let him in." Lucifer said with a smile on his face although the others can't see it as he concealed it in a mask, only his personal demons are allowed to see his face those who see it without permission are turned into demons to tend to the higher demons in his under world.

Zara didn't bother struggling again the cuffs on his arms he already knew they were meant to shut off his powers and even if there weren't as long as he was in the presence of Lucifer he is power less.

Then with a gesture of his hands the guards left them alone. "So tell me No.3 or should I say Zara." Lucifer said and laughed. "How were you able to evolve your artificial intelligence to override the demon soul in that body."

"Maybe because you aren't as powerful as you claim to be, or just maybe the Lord supreme..." Zara struggled to breath as Lucifer grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up.

"Never say that name in my presence." Lucifer said in a thundering voice.

So that name still affects him Zara thought to him self. He knew Lucifer would never rest until he has everyone in the word worshipping him instead of the Lord supreme, which was why he created Geneessis.

Lucifer let go of his neck and put him down and then in a soft voice said. "Anyways my boy after am done remodeling you you won't even remember his name and you will be the one to take care of his angel of destruction for me all I need is just my last pet."

The demon of illusion walked towards Luna who was lying lifeless on the ground and the room around the suddenly dissolved into thin air. What a pity she had thought they will have more fun that this but those two people who she had conjured out of Luna's deepest regrets most be to important to her to harm.

She picked Luna up and disappeared into dark smoke, meanwhile the battle was still raging on between vex and Mike.
