Ethan stared at Adelaide who still had a look of contemplation on his face, and he sighed.
"We really need to go, Adelaide, we can't afford to risk our identities, your sister would be able to see through this disguise," Ethan pressed further, and Adelaide had no other choice but to leave her father's side.
Once Ethan held Adelaide's hands, they disappeared from the room. And just as they disappeared, the door to the room was pushed open, and Adelaide's sister, Lady Evelyn walked in.
She looked around before her eyes landed on the bed. She looked at the man on the bed who was having a rosy look on his cheeks, and her hands clenched.
"My sister was here," she muttered under her breath, but her shoulders trembled in anger.
"Guards, search the entire perimeter of the Palace and apprehend every suspicious looking person, my sister must be found," Lady Evelyn yelled, and the guards got to work immediately.
