"I understand what you feel, but even if I had informed you about it, nothing could stop fate, we were destined to die, and be reborn," Adelaide stated amidst tears, and no matter how Ethan hated to hear that statement, he knew that it was the truth, and there was nothing he could do to change it.

"It's fine, we can make babies again, what do you think?" Ethan decided to tease her just to lighten up her mood, and it worked as Adelaide burst into laughter.

"I believe it is preferable for us to complete this war before thinking of having children, do you understand?" Adelaide smiled at him as her fingers traced the contours of his face as he knelt before her.

Although Adelaide didn't complete her words, Ethan was well aware of the hidden meaning behind her words. They couldn't lose a child, so it was best to take adequate precautions.
