Nero used the Lunar Mirror and raised his right hand, releasing silver energy that coalesced into a handle that he gripped. The energy quickly took the form of a shield and grew to three meters in length and nearly two meters in width.

He kept waiting, with each second passing by in a flash but also lasting way longer than normal. His instincts pushed to the edge, waiting for the shield to fully form, using every moment he was offered before the creature lost its patience.

After just eleven more seconds, the beast growled, his eyes not missing Raoul, who was back on his feet, limping toward it even though he could barely stand still.

Nero finally burst forth just as the beast opened his maw and let loose an enormous breath of fire. The intense blaze gushed forth and covered the over ten meters separating them in a second.
