Synopsis

A Galaxy Ruled by Magic, What is Better than That? A Galaxy Ruled by Magic and Chosen Individuals with unique Systems, with each system representing a different aspect of reality.

The Systems range from the simple Ascendant grade Flame Heart system, which granted simple yet strong fire-based abilities, to the pinnacle of power, the Primordial Grade System of Time, which granted dominion over the archaic force of time itself.

In such a fantasy, fate weaves its own designs, sending a figure who stood at the peak, betrayed by those he trusted as comrades, back in time.

However, What if the reincarnation does not go as it should?

What if he returns in time but is stuck with his eighteen-year-old self in his younger body?

What if he does not even have control over his physical body and needs to make a deal with his younger self to even control it?

I have read all sixteen chapters, and I have to say, it’s been an excellent read so far. While I’d personally like the pacing to be slightly faster, everything else has been fantastic. The story offers a unique twist on the reincarnation genre. Unlike the typical trope where the protagonist fully controls their younger self, here the dynamic is different: The older self exists alongside the younger, which creates an intriguing duality. If the author develops both characters properly, this could turn into a standout story with a fascinating twist. In many novels, reincarnated protagonists, despite their decades of experience, often act immaturely or irrationally, which can be frustrating, though sometimes necessary for character growth. This book, however, has the potential to avoid that pitfall entirely. With two distinct characters, a naive, ambitious young man striving for greatness and a wise, vengeance-driven older self, the contrast can drive the narrative in exciting directions. I hope the author continues to differentiate these characters, especially Draven. Instead of being a passive, wise mentor archetype, he could take on the role of a morally ambiguous anti-villain, someone manipulative and neutral who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. That would add depth and tension to the story. As for the power systems concept, while it is not entirely new, it's well-executed so far. I’m curious to see how the author expands on it, especially the range of systems he will create. With every aspect of reality seemingly available, the possibilities for unique and creative combinations are endless, so it would be nice to see some unique and even outright wacky powers.
