The academy looked rather deadly wherever he went. Everywhere Dilhan went, students and professors alike greeted him with wide smiles and congratulatory words.
"Young Londor! You were incredible out there," one of the seniors exclaimed, clapping him on the back as they passed by.
"Always knew you had it in you, you know," another chimed in. "You're a Londor, after all. It's in your blood!"
Dilhan offered them polite smiles, nodding as they gushed over him. Inside, though, he felt a hollow ache.
They think it's just because I'm a Londor. Always the bloodline, he thought to himself, his head hurting just by thinking about it. If they ever realized how much of a facade this really is...no he had to agree that it didn't even bother because he was not doing anything to impress them.
Sure he wanted to impress people as the streamer, but as Dilhan he had no desire to appeal himself to people.
