Cali's support

Cali hesitated at the door, feeling out of place. Her awkwardness was obvious as she peeked inside the room. "Um… where's Anna?" she asked, her voice quieter than usual.

Dilhan, lounging casually in the corner, pointed toward the back of the room where Anna was sound asleep on a small couch. He raised a finger to his lips, signaling Cali to keep her voice down. "Don't shout," he whispered. "Come and sit."

Cali obeyed, reluctantly walking over and sitting down on a chair opposite him. Her posture was stiff, her hands clasped together tightly in her lap. Her mind swirled with conflicting emotions. She had confessed to Dilhan just a few days ago, pouring her heart out. But now, knowing he had a fiancée, every interaction felt strained. Even remaining friends seemed like a struggle. How could she act normal around him now?
