After dying on Earth, the protagonist wakes up in the world of A Song of Ice and Fire. Armed with the knowledge from the books and coming from a more evolved society, he accepts his new life and identity and decides to learn more about this world of magic and dragons. However, things are not as simple as he imagined. Sent to a very distant past where the Targaryen conquest has not yet happened, his knowledge of the renowned literary series is not of much help, and to make matters worse, he was reborn in the worst place and at the worst possible time.

Hello everyone. I hope you like my fan fiction. It takes place 400 years before the events of Game of Thrones. In this fic, I will show my vision of Asshai by the shadow using my experience that I gained from reading many magic novels. I hope you like the city of shadows that I created. The system is not powerful and will only help the protagonist with small facilities and some minor benefits. This is my first time writing, and I do not have an editor, so feel free to correct anything in the grammar. I like the sinister environment of Asshai, where no magic is forbidden, and because there are few mentions in the books about this place, I started to have these ideas about what Asshai and its society would be like. So I decided to share these thoughts with you and write this fic. I hope to gain more practice and experience as an author, to later release my book that is also already in development.

This novel comes with a new perspective, showing the magical side of ASOIAF, forming an independent story from the main line of story. I'm still frothing for new chapters, it ranks in top among hundreds of fanfictions I read of ASOIAF. For author, 1. You can introduce different level of meditation techniques,magic power system from warlock of magus world or similar novels, or you can have MC be the pioneer which I think will make the novel very interesting and long lasting. 2. If you're comfortable with names now can you change the name of the MC and his friends to more valyrian, and will MC have a surname like from his mother's side ,where she might come from an ancient main line of dragonlords which has gone extinct and these other dragonlord families are just it's branches, you can add these. 3. I think now that he is in asshai, you can make long volumes of how he becomes a pioneer of magic taking your time writing it out. You can even use Asshai language made by David peterson.
without a doubt the best Game of Thrones fanfiction I have read. I highly recommend it. I look forward to the next chapters and I hope the author will finish the story

Hello everyone, I'm the author of this fic. Today, volume 1 was completed and I came here to leave my review for those of you who want to read the novel. After arriving in Valyria, the MC makes a huge effort to collect all the resources he can before the 7-day deadline ends. He is also preparing a ship and a crew for the long journey to Asshai. On top of that, he also has the system quests. While the MC takes care of all this, we see an incredibly rich and full of life Valyria through the eyes of other characters. Faceless men fighting against the cruel Blood Mages, crime lords, dragon riders, minor nobles, merchants, a woman who seeks revenge for her past, a Velaryon who did not flee to Westeros, and many other minor characters who experience firsthand all the consequences of the MC's actions in these last days of Old Valyria. If you don't like multiple POV then this is not a read for you.
