In Chi's POV.
Something's off.
I can feel it.
I don't know exactly what it is, but there's definitely something going on.
My gaze drifts across the classroom, stopping on Kaori. She's at her desk, staring intensely at her notebook, her grip on her pen so tight it looks like it might snap in half.
…That's already suspicious enough.
But the real giveaway?
Her ears.
Bright red.
Kaori doesn't get flustered easily. She's usually sharp—always quick with a jab, always rolling her eyes at whatever nonsense comes her way. She's got a reputation for being untouchable, unaffected.
Yet right now, she's just… sitting there.
Completely still.
Like she's desperately trying to act normal.
She's pretending to be focused on her notes, but I've been watching her for the past five minutes. She hasn't written a single thing.
Suspicious.
Very suspicious.
I follow her gaze.
Yuto.
