Another Day.
Something weird is happening again.
I mean, sure, I've already accepted that Kaori has been acting… different lately. The whole Cold War thing she started yesterday? Yeah, that was something. But today, it feels even weirder.
Less Cold War, more… unstable weather patterns.
Like, one second she's normal—well, Kaori normal—and the next, she's snapping at me over absolutely nothing.
It's like I'm walking through a minefield. And the worst part? I have no idea where the mines are.
I'm starting to think I'm the only one who didn't receive some secret memo on how to navigate whatever this is.
Right now, it's break time. The usual classroom noises fill the air—the scrape of chairs, low chatter, the occasional burst of laughter from some group in the back. The faint scent of pencil shavings and someone's too-strong cologne lingers in the air.
I lean back in my chair, stretching my arms over my head before glancing at Kaori.
