Mewtwo appeared and instantly used Teleport!
With immense psychic power, it carried everyone in the group and, in the blink of an eye, arrived at the summit of Mt. Coronet!
Before Lyra could even react, Mewtwo returned to its Master Ball.
Stunned, Lyra looked around, completely baffled.
"This… we're already at Mt. Coronet in Sinnoh?!"
"Come out, Lucario. Use your aura sensing. I need to find where the largest concentration of people is inside Mt. Coronet."
"Luu-ca!"
Ash summoned Lucario, and the group followed closely behind as Lucario led the way.
It didn't take long before they arrived at a freshly excavated cave entrance.
"Everyone, stay close to me. Don't wander off. Anabel, keep an eye on Dawn and Lyra. Pikachu, stay alert and watch the surroundings."
"Pika!"
Pikachu leapt from Ash's shoulder onto Anabel's.
Ash immediately used his Pokétch to send Lucario's detected location to Cynthia.
Cynthia, surprised at how quickly Ash arrived—faster than even she had—immediately forwarded the location to Officer Jenny's headquarters, Professor Rowan, and her grandmother, Professor Carolina.
Then, without hesitation, she summoned her Garchomp, parked her car, and had Garchomp carry her to the coordinates Ash had just sent.
Meanwhile, atop the summit of Mt. Coronet...
Cyrus, the four Galactic Commanders—Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, and Charon—the infamous Hunter J, and a swarm of Team Galactic grunts were all gathered before the Spear Pillar.
"Quick! Bring out the Adamant and Lustrous Orbs!"
Cyrus was visibly impatient.
Saturn opened a case, revealing the orbs that immediately floated toward the portal at the Spear Pillar, merging with it.
"Excellent! This is it! Our new world… finally within reach!"
As the portal activated, layers of shimmering void stairs emerged, stretching into the unknown.
At the end of this ethereal staircase stood an ancient and sacred triangular altar.
Each point of the triangle represented one of the lake guardians—Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie.
At the altar's front stood two massive columns—according to ancient records, these were the anchors for the Red Chain that would bind Dialga and Palkia.
The trio of lake guardians' power was being used to summon the Temporal and Spatial Pokémon—who would then be imprisoned by the Red Chain forged from meteoric ore. In Cyrus's possession was the core source of that Red Chain, capable of manipulating time and space.
"That's far enough, Team Galactic! Cyrus—it really was you! I knew something was off about you from the beginning!"
Cynthia had arrived early!
"Garchomp!"
As Cynthia appeared, countless grunts unleashed waves of Golbat to swarm her.
But Garchomp didn't even wait for a command. With a couple of devastating Brick Breaks, it sent a gale-force shockwave that wiped out the Golbat en masse.
The pressure of a Champion—it crushed everyone present.
"Hunter J! Stall Cynthia for five minutes!"
Cyrus ignored everything else.
The lake guardians were now in place, restrained by the Red Chain and completely unable to resist.
Hunter J deployed her Drapion and Salamence to block Cynthia's Garchomp.
But Cynthia was prepared. She threw out Togekiss, Spiritomb, and Gastrodon.
"Togekiss, Spiritomb—hold off Drapion and Salamence! Gastrodon—keep the rest of Team Galactic from interfering! Garchomp—go for Cyrus!"
She issued orders with swift decisiveness. But at that moment, Saturn, Mars, and Jupiter each sent out Toxicroak, Purugly, and Skuntank to intercept Garchomp and buy time for Cyrus.
"Hahaha! It's useless now! Come forth—Dialga! Palkia!"
Cyrus laughed maniacally as Charon activated the Red Chains positioned atop the two massive columns. The source in Cyrus's hand pulsed with power!
Dialga and Palkia were summoned!
The twin dragons of time and space struggled wildly the moment they appeared!
But the Red Chain gripped them tightly like an unbreakable cage, binding their immense power!
Cynthia furrowed her brows. She hadn't expected Cyrus to successfully summon them.
As someone deeply knowledgeable in ancient history, Cynthia knew Dialga and Palkia weren't just legends—they were real.
But this was her first time seeing them with her own eyes—and under these circumstances.
Alone, even for her, it was difficult to suppress an entire criminal organization, two legendaries, and Hunter J.
In that moment, she thought of Ash.
What would that guy do in this situation?
Ash, where are you?
But Ash had arrived—long ago.
He had been waiting.
Waiting for Cyrus to open what he believed was his so-called "New World," just so Ash could crush both him and Hunter J in one strike.
To eliminate them permanently.
And now, the moment had come.
Using the power of the Red Chain, Cyrus activated time and space energies from Dialga and Palkia, opening a dimensional rift.
"It's here! Hahahaha! A new world! My dream world—finally within reach! None of you could ever understand!" Cyrus roared with glee.

"Regigigas! Smash those Red Chain bindings!"

Three earth-shaking steps echoed across the altar!
The sound came from a colossal titan whose every footstep could move tectonic plates.
"Shhhhrrr!"
With six thick fingers, Regigigas grasped both Red Chains—one restraining Dialga, the other Palkia.
"Crush them."
—Crush, Regigigas's signature move!
Harnessing its legendary continent-moving might, it exerted all its power into its grip!
Crack—crack—CRAACK!
The supposedly indestructible Red Chains—shattered like glass!
Then, a single extended finger lashed out at Hunter J—smashing her before she could react!
Too fast.
Everything happened too fast!
Cyrus too was caught completely off guard!
Before they even realized it, both Cyrus and Hunter J were hurled straight into the dimensional portal they had just opened—into the so-called "New World" they longed for!
Their figures vanished into the vortex—swallowed by space itself.
No screams.
No resistance.
Just—gone.
