Lord Alaric's words did not seem to register with Ophelia. With a casual shrug, she fell silent as the waiter began serving the dishes.
As the delightful aromas wafted around us, Ophelia's eyes sparkled, and she declared, "Excuse me, but I must eat!" It was evident she intended to dismiss us, leaving Lord Alaric and me to depart awkwardly.
Upon returning to our seats, we were met with Aeliana's disapproving glare. "Can you both not display a bit of ambition? What is it about encountering a woman that renders you both so utterly spellbound?"
Aeliana's visibly irked demeanour suggested that she was genuinely displeased.
"What were you two discussing?" inquired Eden Martha, curiosity evident in his voice.
“We hardly discussed anything; I merely asked for her name!” I replied defensively.
“And what is her name?”
“Ophelia!” Lord Alaric chimed in.
Eden Martha suddenly set down his chopsticks, his gaze shifting thoughtfully in Ophelia's direction.
