"System, was that magic?" Alberto asked, Alberto was very surprised. Since he was seeing magic for the first time. Although he had heard about magic, it was a myth. But now he is actually witnessing it. His eyes fixed on Circe as she stood tall, her hands still radiating a faint glow.
[Yes. Circe is a powerful Magician.]
Circe's fierce attack had left a trail of destruction in its wake, with many monsters lying lifeless on the ground. The rest had fled in terror, abandoning their fallen comrades.
As Circe approached Alberto, he couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Her piercing gaze seemed to bore into his soul, and he wondered if he had made a mistake in summoning her.
"System… are you sure she won't turn against me?" he asked cautiously. The difference in power between them was staggering—if she wanted to, she could destroy him effortlessly.
[Do not worry. Every entity summoned through the system is bound to you. She cannot betray you.]
Circe stopped a few steps away, her gaze never wavering. "Did you summon me?" she asked, her voice flat, devoid of emotion.
"Yes," Alberto replied.
Circe's gaze never wavered. "Then you are my master,"
"Yes...Thank you for saving us," Alberto said, his voice filled with gratitude.
"There's no need for thanks," Circe replied, her tone dismissive. "These creatures were weak."
Alberto's breath hitched. Weak? Those monsters had decimated his forces, yet she dismissed them as insignificant?
Shaking off his shock, he turned to his soldiers. "Tend to the wounded. Gather our fallen and prepare for burial."
Before anyone could move, Circe raised a hand.
"It won't be necessary."
A surge of energy pulsed through the air, golden light sweeping across the injured soldiers. In mere moments, their wounds vanished, as if they had never been harmed.
"Wow, that's incredible!" one of the soldiers exclaimed.
"Magic is truly amazing," another soldier whispered.
Everyone was stunned by the display of magic. "This magic is awesome,"

After that, the soldiers then gathered the bodies of their dead comrades and buried them with due honor. Although they were summoned through the system, they were real people, and their loss was deeply felt.
After burying the dead soldiers, Alberto and the rest of the group spent some time mourning their loss. They stood in silence, their heads bowed in respect, as they paid their respects to their fallen comrades.
"I'm sorry we lost so many good men," Alberto said, his voice heavy with sorrow.
"It's not your fault, Herr Hauptmann," one of the soldiers replied. "It's our duty"
Circe stood apart from the group, her eyes fixed on the graves. "They were weak," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "But they fought bravely."
Alberto looked at her, surprised by her words. Maybe there's more to her than meets the eye, he thought.
As they stood there, the system's voice echoed in Alberto's mind once more. [Congratulations! You have completed your first mission. Now your next mission is to build the capital of the country.]
Alberto's thoughts were interrupted by the system's message. He looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. "What does this mean?" he wondered.
Circe, sensing his confusion, turned to him. "It seems we have a new task, Master," she said, her voice devoid of emotion.
Alberto nodded, his mind racing with the implications. "Let's proceed," he said, his voice firm. "We have a capital to build."
Then another message comes from the system
[Also do you want to open the three boxes you received as gifts from the The Observer?]
"Huh!— Okay."
Alberto began to open the three boxes one by one.
[Congratulations! You have acquired all language skills]
[Congratulations! You have gained immunity to poison.]
[Congratulations! You got 5,000,000,000,000 SC]
Alberto's jaw dropped. He blinked at the enormous number on the screen, counting the zeros.
"Five… trillion?"
He stared at his new abilities. All languages? Poison immunity? If he had opened these earlier, the battle might have been much easier.
But then again… if he had, he might never have met Circe.
Maybe everything happens for a reason.
The system's voice interrupted his thoughts.
[Now, select the land for your capital.]
A mini-map appeared before him, giving him a bird's-eye view of the region. He scanned the terrain before choosing a suitable location.
[Are you sure you want to build your capital here?]
*Yes*
[Confirmed. A 50-square-mile area has been designated for construction. Now, select your accommodations.]
Alberto navigated to the Structure section of the system shop. Various building designs filled the screen—some familiar, some entirely foreign. Then, one particular structure caught his attention.
Palace of Versailles
Alberto spent fifty billion on this palace.
A magic circle appears in a moment. In a flash of light, the area surrounding them cleared, revealing a vast expanse of land.
And then, from the heart of the magic circle, the Palace of Versailles emerged.
It stood as a testament to opulence and grandeur, a symbol of power and extravagance that captivated all who beheld its splendor. The palace, a marvel of architecture and design, boasted ornate facades, sprawling gardens, and lavish interiors that hinted at a world of luxury beyond imagination.
Imposing gates, adorned with golden statues, guarded the entrance, hinting at the treasures that lay beyond. The Palace itself was a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, its intricate carvings, gilded ornaments, and towering domes reaching towards the sky.
The gardens were equally breathtaking, boasting fountains, statues, and walking paths that seemed to stretch on forever.
As the soldiers and Circe gazed upon the palace, their faces reflected awe and wonder.
"Wow, this is incredible!" one soldier exclaimed, his voice laced with disbelief.
"It's like a dream come true!" another whispered, his eyes wide with wonder.
Circe's expression remained unchanged, but Alberto sensed a hint of curiosity in her eyes, a flicker of interest beneath her usual stoic demeanor.
[Versailles Palace: This version has both magical and modern enhancements beyond your world's Versailles.]
[The main palace spans 721,182 square feet and covers 3.166 square miles. The gardens hold 372 statues, 55 water features, and 600 fountains, with over 20 miles of water pipes. The palace contains 2,300 rooms.]
Alberto had heard of Versailles before—stories of its unimaginable beauty. But now, he owned it.
He pinched his cheek. A sharp sting shot through his skin.
"Ouch."
He wasn't dreaming.
[Mission complete. Congratulations! You have leveled up.]
[You have received 1,000,000,000 SC.]
Alberto's eyes widened. "A billion more?"
For the first time, he felt a true sense of security. Money, which had always been a source of worry in his past life, was now the least of his concerns.
Just as he started to relax, the system's voice turned stern.
[Do not be complacent. You will not always be rewarded for completing missions. Use your resources wisely.]
"Eh!" Alberto exclaimed, a slight frown replacing his smile.
