The opening was a success, and it was fulfilling to do something we've longed to do with the people we love.

That was probably the biggest takeaway for someone like me who had to always hide my life.

I couldn't tell others what I was doing, nor would I talk about the people I value, afraid of interference and for their own safety.

And that wasn't a good life.

I wasn't aloof because my surname and status made me that way; I was aloof because I had to make sure I had as few holes as possible.

But today, I've taken as many photos and videos as I'd like and posted as much as I can.

My husband, who usually complained about things like this, stopped the moment I told him that it was so people would know we were married.

Though, I should've thought of something else because he went slightly nuts about that.
