CHAPTER 25***MUTANT PORCUPINE***

The beast let out a cry and shot out the pointed needles on its back. The needles shot out an an incredible speed. A speed impossible for the human eyes to follow. Chen drew out his blood daggers. "No holding back". He said. He charged into the barrage of needles head on. He slashed continually at the needles, parrying them. Damian set up several walls of shadows making the needles come to an abrupt halt as soon as it made contact. They charged towards the mutant porcupine. The porcupine.stood still not even making a move. Suddenly, Chen felt a chill behind him. He turned around only to be greeted by the sight of a sharp needle. He tilted his head to the right immediately but he wasn't fast enough. The needle grazed against his cheek making it bleed. The slight grazing of the needle exposed a lot of tissue on his cheek. He hissed in pain at the stinging sensation. " It can control its needle even after shooting it out". Cgen warned. Both of them stopped in their tracks as needles surrounded them. Damian stepped forward. "Shadow binding chains", he muttered. Chains made entirely of shadows shot out towards the floating needles. The chains binded the needles making them impossible for the porcupine to redirect them. The porcupine moved. One of its prey was busy with restricting the movement of its needles. Chen noticed that the porcupine beast moved also moved. He formed a fist, ready to burst the porcupine open with one strike. Veins formed around his arm, his muscle buldged. Making sure he had gotten closer enough to strike, he finally struck. " Arrggghh". He roared.

*BOOM*.

The strike formed a large crater on the ground, the dungeon shook and dust covered his view. He sighed in relief but became alert as he felt no flesh. He turned around but wasn't fast enough. Needles shot towards him. Damian quickly created a wall made of shadows. The needle attacks quickly changed directions, evading the wall. The needles attacked Chen from behind. Chen quickly turned his body midair. This action resulted in the bones in his waist cracking. He summoned his blood daggers. Despite being in pain, he parrief the attacks but was unlucky as a needle pierced into his shoulders drawing out a lot of blood.
