The continous blinking soon stopped and both fighters stood facing each other once again. The cave rumbled more violently but it didn't even faze them both. Chen's body had several cuts on his body due to repeatedslashing from the skeleton general's repeated scythe slash,even his clothes had been reduced to rags due to it having several cuts on it. The muscles in his arms and legs hurt like hell due to the consistent running and fighting at full speed and strength but after giving it his all, he was still not a match for the skeleton general. The skeleton general stared at Chen for some time before slashing with its scythe once again. Chen stood dumbstruck at this sudden attack, he could clearly see it coming as the skeleton general didn't make the attack faster. Chen forced his whole body to move but he couldn't, he had reached his limit. "Is this the end of me?, and here i thought i would achieve great things" Chen thought inwardly. Closing his eyes, he was ready to die but the attack did not reach him. Chen slowly opened his eyelids and he was met with a sight he almost couldn't believe it. Rec stood in front of Chen, a large and condensed wall made entirely of flames stood tall and strong in front of him. "Thanks". That was the only word that could escape his mouth. " i didn't save you so do not thank me" Rex codly replied. Chen shrugged, finally falling to the ground. His mind was willing to fight but his body betrayed him. "He's strong, Rex" Chen warned. "I knew before coming here" Rex codly replied again. Thr skeleton general couldn't stand the sight of Rex so it moved, quickly arriving in front of Rex who reacted swiftly by leaping up from his initial position and before the skeleton general could react, flaming spears rained from the sky. The sleleton general repeatedly swung its scythe, parrying all the spears made of fire. Rex followed the attack with another one, a large flaming fist was thrown at the skeleton general who punched it back head on. Surprisingly, its little and dry fist struck the flaming fist, dispersing the flames with just a single punch. Rex was dumbstruck but did not slack off as he attacked again. *Blazing Inferno, 5000 flame power** Rex used this skill spreading flames around. The intensity of the burning flames scorched the cave black but the skeleton generap was surpringly unscathed.
