“Ha, if your master truly exists and that boy didn’t lie, then it would be great” Garion spoke sternly, still doubting Las and Belz's words. The fact that Dragoon couldn’t come out to meet them piqued their suspicions.
They had discussed it last night, and by morning, a turmoil started again within the family, just before heading out to sell vegetables.
“I've told you, if you don't believe me, there's nothing more I can say. And I won't go against the master’s wishes and drag him out, especially since I've stopped relying on Branford. He is my last hope” Las responded with a poker face, making Garion feel even more irritated, which was interrupted by the small clink of a tea glass from an elderly woman who had been listening. Garion sweated under Gathia's staring gaze.
