I woke up in the morning, still feeling dizzy. I yawned and stretched my body before I got up. Not only that, but I checked my watch, "Oh, it's 8 o'clock already.
Likewise, I went to my bathroom and checked my face in the mirror. Wow! Very rough, I took water and washed my face while it's raining.
The space was serene, with merely the gentle hum of the overhead ceiling fan. I sat with my legs crossed on the edge of my bed, staring out the window at the rain falling.
Water droplets glided over the glass like miniature streams, distorting the outside view into a gray, infinite abyss.
My fingertips grazed the chilly surface of my phone, yet I didn't grasp it. Not this occasion. This evening, I aimed to avoid distractions.
I had to reflect.
