Arrival

I had fallen asleep by the time anyone had brought me food. It was a different masked figure who woke me up to present me with a feast of different foods.

The smells alone made my mouth water. I had never smelt a food so rich and sweet.

I got out of the bed, trying not to wake any of the maids. Unfortunately, Addy, Ann, and Angel all woke up the minute I began to walk toward the little table where the tray had been set.

The tray itself had to be one of the most ornate items I had ever gotten to touch. It shined a pale silver and was covered in little red flowers. I ran my finger over the carvings, little leaves, vines, and the flowers themselves. When I lifted the tray lid my senses were assaulted by a dozen delicious scents.

"Have a seat, my Princess," Addy had brought a chair seemingly out of thin air.

"Are you three hungry?" I asked, looking down at the food I couldn't believe it could be all mine.
