Chapter 12: Meeting Albert (2)

She was a goddess, a masterpiece of physical perfection.

Alëna was still looking around when her eyes met Albert's across the room, and she felt a sudden flutter in her chest. She couldn't help but notice how handsome he looked, his chiseled features and piercing eyes making her feel like she was melting under his gaze.

Here's a continuation:

Time seemed to stand still as Albert and Alëna locked eyes, their gazes entwining in a spellbinding dance. The noise of the party faded into the background, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a world of their own.

Alëna's heart skipped a beat as she drowned in the depths of Albert's piercing eyes. She felt like she was melting under the warmth of his gaze, her very soul stirring with a sense of connection she couldn't explain.

Meanwhile, Albert was equally entranced by Alëna's stunning beauty. Her raven hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, and her sparkling green eyes shone like emeralds in the light. Her full lips curved into a subtle smile, and Albert felt his heart stumble in his chest.

The air was electric with tension as they stood there, frozen in time, their eyes locked in a silent understanding that neither of them could quite comprehend.

' Is this really Albert, The man I'm supposed to meet ?'

Alëna asked herself silently not believing this. He was more handsome than she had expected. He was tall, with a medium body and he facial features were attractive as well.

Alëna's cheeks flushed as she finally broke the spell, looking away from Albert's captivating gaze. She felt a little dizzy, as if the room had spun around her, leaving her breathless and disoriented.

She took a deep breath, trying to compose herself, and reached for her glass of champagne, hoping to distract herself from the sudden flutter in her chest.

As she turned back to face the party, Alëna couldn't help but sneak a glance in Albert's direction. She found him still watching her.

She looked away again and focused on the drink. Albert who still watched her decided to go and approach her.

Just as Albert was about to reach Alëna, a tall, dark-haired man appeared out of nowhere, intercepting Albert's path.

The stranger's piercing brown eyes locked onto Alëna, and he flashed her a charming smile. "May I have the pleasure of this dance?" he asked, his deep voice smooth as silk.

Alëna's eyes darted to Albert, who looked taken aback by the sudden interruption. She hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do.

Alëna smiled politely and placed her hand in the stranger's. "I'd love to," she said, and he swept her onto the dance floor.

As they glided across the floor, the stranger proved to be a skilled dancer, his movements fluid and confident. Alëna found herself laughing and feeling at ease in his presence.

But even as she enjoyed the dance, Alëna couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She glanced around, her eyes meeting Albert's across the room. He was standing alone, his eyes fixed intently on her.

Alëna tried to push aside the flutter in her chest and focus on her dance partner. She smiled brightly and chatted with him, laughing at his witty remarks and feeling a sense of ease in his presence.

As the music swirled around them, Alëna found herself getting lost in the rhythm and the stranger's charming smile. She began to relax, letting go of her earlier tension and simply enjoying the moment.

But even as she let loose, Alëna couldn't shake the feeling that Albert's eyes were still on her, watching her every move.

As Alëna continued to dance with the stranger, Albert's eyes remained fixed on her, his expression unreadable. But just as it seemed like he was about to make his move, a stunning blonde woman appeared by his side.

"May I have the pleasure of this dance?" she asked, her voice husky and confident. Albert's gaze flickered to the woman, and for a moment, Alëna thought she saw a flash of interest in his eyes.

But then, his gaze drifted back to Alëna, and he smiled wryly. "I'd love to," he said, offering the blonde woman his hand.

As they glided onto the dance floor, Alëna felt a pang of surprise. She hadn't expected Albert to ask someone else to dance, especially not when he had seemed so focused on her.

As the music swirled around them, Albert focused on the dance, his movements fluid and confident. His dance partner, the stunning blonde woman, laughed and smiled up at him, clearly charmed by his attention.

But despite Albert's focus on his dance partner, Alëna's gaze remained fixed on him. She watched, transfixed, as he moved across the dance floor, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

The stranger, Alëna's dance partner, noticed her distraction and raised an eyebrow. "You seem a little... distant," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Everything okay?"

Alëna hesitated, unsure of how to respond. She didn't want to admit that she was still fixated on Albert, not when she was supposed to be enjoying herself with the stranger.

" I will excuse myself." Alena said and left the dance floor.
