Drunked

Felix wondered where Jae-Hyun had gone, feeling a pang of discomfort as he scanned the crowd for his friend's familiar face. But Jae-Hyun was nowhere to be found, and Felix was left standing alone, feeling like a lost puppy.

Just as he was starting to feel really uncomfortable, a man walked up to him, a cheerful smile plastered on his face. "Hey, mind if I join you?" he asked, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

Felix hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to say. But the guy seemed friendly enough, and Felix decided to use him to pass the time until Jae-Hyun returned.

"Sure, I guess," Felix said, trying to sound casual. The guy nodded, taking a sip of his drink as he leaned against the bar.

"I'm Rye," he said, holding out his hand. Felix took it, shaking it briefly.

"I'm Felix," he replied, trying to smile. Rye grinned, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Nice to meet you, Felix," he said, his voice low and smooth. "What brings you here tonight?" Felix shrugged, taking a sip of his own drink.

"Just hanging out with a friend," he said, trying to sound nonchalant. Rye nodded, his eyes never leaving Felix's face.

"Ah, cool," he said, his voice dripping with sincerity. "I'm here with some friends too. We're celebrating a birthday." Felix raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself.

"Happy birthday to...?" he asked, trying to sound interested. Rye grinned, holding up his hands.

"Not me, unfortunately," he said, laughing. "My friend, Ji-Hoon. He's turning 25, and we're throwing him a party." Felix nodded, trying to smile.

"Happy birthday to Ji-Hoon, then," he said, trying to sound sincere. Rye nodded, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Thanks, man," he said, clapping Felix on the back. "I'll make sure to pass it on." As Rye turned to scan the crowd, Felix felt a pang of relief. Maybe this guy wouldn't be so bad to hang out with after all.

Felix laughed and joked with Ryan, feeling a weight lift off his shoulders. For the first time in weeks, he was having fun, forgetting all about what had been bothering him. Ryan, or Rye as he preferred to be called, was not bad after all. In fact, he was quite charming and funny.

It had been a long time since Felix had let loose like this. He and Rye were getting drunk, singing along to the music and dancing like fools. , Jae-Hyun came out of nowhere already drunk and joined them, and the three of them had a blast.

But amidst all the fun, a pair of eyes watched from the shadows. Rowoon's eyes narrowed as he watched Felix and Rye together, his anger simmering just below the surface. Every time Rye got close to Felix, Rowoon's anger spiked, his fists clenching at his sides.

He turned to Zain, his voice low and deadly. "Find out who that guy is," he growled, his eyes never leaving Felix's face. Zain nodded, his eyes flicking to Rye before returning to Rowoon.

But Rowoon's attention was already focused on Felix. He watched as Felix stumbled and laughed, his heart aching with a mix of anger and longing. He couldn't believe Felix was getting drunk with some stranger, couldn't believe he was having so much fun without him.

Rowoon's jaw clenched, his eyes blazing with intensity. He was going to take care of Felix, make sure Felix friend get home safely, he said to Zain. And as for Rye... Rowoon's eyes narrowed, a plan already forming in his mind.

Felix's eyes blurred as he gazed out at the crowd, the music and laughter swirling together in a colorful haze. He was already drunk, his senses dulled by the endless stream of drinks.

But then, he saw him. A familiar figure walking up to him, his eyes fixed intently on Felix's face. Felix's heart skipped a beat as he stared, his mind struggling to process what he was seeing.

Rowoon?

Felix's eyes widened, his breath catching in his throat. But then, he shook his head, chuckling to himself. It was just his imagination, playing tricks on him.

He closed his eyes, letting the music wash over him. The last thing he heard was the faint thump of the bass and Jae-Hyun's distant voice calling his name.

"Felix! Felix, man, wake up!"

But Felix was already gone, passed out cold on the floor.

The next day, Felix woke up with a pounding headache, his memories of the previous night hazy and indistinct. He was lying in a bed, but it wasn't his own. The room was unfamiliar, the walls a plain white that seemed to glow in the morning light.

Felix's mind was foggy, but as he sat up, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. His eyes were bloodshot, his hair disheveled. He looked like he'd been through a war.

And then, it hit him. The memories of the previous night came flooding back, fragmented and unclear. He remembered being at the club, remembered drinking and laughing with Jae-Hyun and Rye.
