been late

But he also remembered seeing Rowoon. Or at least, he thought he did.

Felix's heart skipped a beat as he threw off the covers, his eyes scanning the room for any sign of Rowoon. But he was alone.

Confusion washed over him, mixed with a healthy dose of doubt. Had he really seen Rowoon, or was it just his imagination playing tricks on him?

Felix rubbed his temples, trying to ward off the pounding headache. He needed to get out of there, needed to clear his head and figure out what was going on.

He reached for his phone, wincing as the bright light stabbed at his eyes. He was already late for the first day of school, and he still had to find out where he was and how he'd gotten there.

Felix groaned, flopping back onto the bed. This was not how he'd envisioned his first day of school.

Felix sprang up from the bed, his eyes scanning the room frantically for his clothes and stuff. He didn't have time to admire the expensive-looking furniture or the elegant decor. He was already late, and he still had to find out where he was and how he'd gotten there.

He spotted his clothes on a chair, hastily tossed together. Felix grabbed them, pulling on his pants and shirt with reckless abandon. He stuffed his feet into his shoes, not even bothering to tie the laces.

Next, he looked for his wallet, spotting it on a table stand with some medicine and water. There was a note attached, written in neat handwriting: "Take the medicine before leaving."

Felix didn't hesitate. His headache was killing him, and he didn't care if the medicine was poison or not. He popped the pills into his mouth, washing them down with a gulp of water.

With his wallet and phone secure in his pocket, Felix made a run for the door. He yanked it open, spilling out into a luxurious hallway. He didn't stop to admire the ornate chandelier or the plush carpet. He just kept running, his phone already dialing Jae-Hyun's number.

As he ran, Felix fumbled with his stuff, trying to get his keys out of his pocket. He finally managed to extract them, just as Jae-Hyun's voice came through on the other end of the line.

"Hey, Felix, where the hell are you?" Jae-Hyun demanded. "I've been calling your number since last night."

Felix panted, trying to catch his breath. "I'll be there in a minute," he promised, already racing down the stairs.

As he burst out of the building, Felix took a deep breath of fresh air. He didn't know where he was, but he knew he had to get to school. And fast.

Rowoon watched with a smile on his face as Felix rushed to leave, his movements frantic and hurried. Rowoon's eyes crinkled at the corners as he remembered the previous night, when he had brought Felix home.

Felix had been drunk, stumbling and staggering as Rowoon had helped him into the apartment. But despite his intoxicated state, Felix had been coherent enough to apologize profusely to Rowoon, begging for forgiveness for the way he had spoken to him at the hospital.

Rowoon's expression had softened at Felix's words, his heart melting at the sincerity in Felix's eyes. Felix had been clingy, wrapping his arms around Rowoon's waist and holding on tight, as if he was afraid Rowoon would disappear.

"I'm sorry, Rowoon," Felix had slurred, his voice barely above a whisper. "I was wrong to speak to you like that. Please come back, Agussihyung. I need you."

Rowoon's eyes had dropped to Felix's face, his gaze drinking in the sight of Felix's flushed cheeks and swollen lips. He had felt a pang of desire, a sudden urge to kiss Felix and make him forget all about his troubles.

But Rowoon had resisted, instead helping Felix into bed and watching over him as he slept. And now, as he watched Felix rush out of the apartment, Rowoon couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

Felix was still hurting, still struggling to come to terms with his emotions. But Rowoon knew that he still has to stay away from him.

And that knowledge was enough to make Rowoon's heart felt a pang of pain, making him feel like he was waiting on air

Zain appeared at Rowoon's side, his expression serious. "We need to leave," he said, his voice low and urgent.

Rowoon nodded, his eyes still fixed on the door Felix had exited through. "Let's go," he said, turning to follow Zain.

As they walked away from the apartment, Rowoon's mind was already focused on the next step. He knew Felix was going to school, and this is the life that belong to Felix ,not his full of darkness and danger looming around.
