It's been three months since he went home, he'd been staying at one of his houses, he took a deep breath as his hand tightened on the stirring wheel, and the gate opened automatically, making Aaron drive smoothly into the house. He couldn't wait to see his princess.
"Did she miss him the way he did?" he asked himself.
" Welcome back sir," a guard greeted him with a nod.
Aaron clenched his hands when he looked at the open door, his throat was dry from thinking about Mina's reaction to him coming back home.
He heard laughter from the living room, his feet led him towards the living room. He smiled when he saw his princess.
" Aaron."
He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his cousin mention his name.
His gaze rested on Mina who hadn't turned towards him.
" Princess," he whispered loud enough to make her hear.
Mina walked straight to the stairs without taking a glance at him.
He cleared his throat, he guessed she wasn't happy to see him.
" How has she been?" he asked Naarah.
" Great, " Naarah said before leaving.
She didn't want to be the third wheel in this, she hated seeing her cousin and best friend fight.
Mina heard a knock on her door, she gathered the courage she needed before telling him to come in.
Her back faced the door while her gaze was on the balcony.
" Princess."
" Welcome back," Mina said with conflicting emotions.
"You are not happy I'm back?" Aaron questioned her.
At least she could pretend she was happy to see her, he watched how her shoulders dropped when he asked.
Mina turned to look at him, she tugged a strand of hair behind her ear and scrutinized the man who was going to be the father of her child. The man who made her world hell. The man who made her feel things she didn't want to.
"I don't want to argue with you, Aaron. What brings you here, to my room?"
She asked as she sat down on her bed.
He cleared his throat as his fist tightened beside him.
" How are you and the baby doing?"
" Good, anything else?"
" I miss you." he wanted to say those words but something was pulling him back to say it.
"I'll be staying here with you."
Mina let out a mocking laugh before crossing her hands across her chest.
"Nobody said you can't stay here Aaron, I'm the stranger in this house. I don't belong here."
" To hell with whatever you said, Mina Angel! You belong to where I say you belong. With me, in my world and my house."
" I don't belong to you Aaron, I won't and I will do anything just to leave this hell."
Aaron let out a laugh before brushing his hand in his hair.
" Are you listening to yourself, princess? You are mine. You belong to Aaron Vertecio. You became mine when I laid my eyes on you. You are freaking carrying my child. We are bound to be together. I gave you three months to clear your head but I guess that wasn't enough to make you realise who you belong."
