Baby

" Should I thank you for giving me those three months to clear my freaking head?" Mina exclaimed.

" Language princess."

"Fuck language, Aaron. You destroyed my life, I lost a lot because of you. My pride, my happiness and my mom-

" Your mom was at the edge of dying Mina. I saved her. Do you think you could have saved her with those lousy jobs of yours?" Aaron cut her off.

Mina stared at him with tears in her eyes. She knew her job couldn't pay for her mother's medications, but hearing the truth pierced her heart. The truth didn't just hurt- it shattered. She took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry princess, I got carried away. " Aaron tried to apologize.

His fist tightened beside him. He came to settle their misunderstanding but he had to open his big mouth and say those words.

Mina's mother was a sensitive topic.

" I want to be alone," Mina whispered.

Aaron opened his mouth but closed them again.

" Do you know why I left for three months?" Aaron questioned.

Mina wrapped her arms around her body, she wanted to feel safe but with who?

His eyes flicked to the motion. God, how wished he was holding her. He wanted to be the warmth she reached for. But how could he Only if she knew she was driving him insane? If she knew he wasn't himself these past months. The fear that always crept into his heart when he thought of her all alone in this world, she had him. But he doubted if she believed it was anything more than her body.

" I wanted you to make your own decisions. I wanted you to know I respect everything you do. I didn't want to push you around, princess. I hope we can settle this misunderstanding."

The sound of the door closing made her feel lonely. Was her room this cold? She wanted to believe what he said but part of her was defiant about his words. A tear dropped down her cheek. She was losing herself and she knew why. She slipped on the floor as tears ran down her face. She shouldn't be doing this but she can't shake the feeling of letting go of something which she didn't know if it was breaking her or healing her.

As the door clicked behind him, he debated if it was the end of them or the beginning. God, he prays this is the beginning of another love.
