HEART OF CHAOS

Abaddon is a noble-born boy in a world where superpowers determine a person’s value. Though his father is the strongest human on the continent, Abaddon is born powerless—a disgrace in royal circles. His early life is filled with pain, but just as things seem to improve, his family is betrayed and massacred by the very gods they worship. Abaddon is then sold into slavery and used as a human shield in dangerous magical explorations. On a mission to a beast-infested island, he dies, but his intense desire for revenge prevents his soul from moving to the underworld, Xerathar.



This act of defiance draws the attention of Kaelar, the Primordial of Chaos, who offers Abaddon a pact: the power to kill the gods in exchange for freeing the Primordials. Kaelar creates a new heart for Abaddon from his essence—the Chaotic Heart of Ashura. Reborn with this power, Abaddon embarks on a relentless journey to destroy the gods, retrieve his family’s souls from Xerathar, and endure immense pain for the sake of love and vengeance.
