Ronald watched the two friends leave.

Then he sat alone on the hospital bed and began to ponder his recent experiences.

With the warden arrested, the retrieval of "Divine Comedy - Paradise," and Lumiere's departure, the big and small matters in Berenweige had been essentially resolved.

Among the remaining puzzles,

the coded letter was still of utmost importance.

The spellcaster who had summoned Demon Rame was, in theory, an enemy on the warden's side. Yet, bizarrely, this person—or the power he represented—had sent Ronald a letter revealing the identity of a companion and even risked summoning the demon again for a direct encounter with Ronald.

What, exactly, was the purpose of this person... or this organization?
