That Wu Xia girl is so stupid, if I have so much time to write novel, I would make her ending become like this: Years later, Wu Xia is schemed to the death by her "best friend" and become a vengeful ghost, the protagonist, seeing her in that state, mocking her and asked "who's you call good girl again?" before he devour her poor soul as nutrient 😋👻
The title was totally misleading (to me, maybe not to you). Maybe the 'rebirth' meant that the MC was reborn into a new individual?? Anyway, that's not the point lol The point is that he was too casual and easy to accept the concept of cultivation and all that shebang. If you were a normal person and supernatural stuff like cultivation hit you, wouldn't you be surprised, shocked and in disbelief for a hot minute?? I know that I would. I felt the story was slightly too unrealistic. I like face-slapping stories with ML or FL, but this one was too unrealistic for me to enjoy. Test the waters yourself. Maybe you'll like the story better than me.
So mc was hit by a car, because he had a beautiful girlfriend, so a rich guy wanted him out of the way. The rich guy orders the doctor to gave him a overdose so he never wakes again and wants to have sex with the girlfriend while the doctor kills him and she agrees. A fleeing evil cultivator comes to earth as a wounded soul and tries to take over mc body but mc fights back and absorbs most of the soul gaining the evil cultivators half of the evil cultivator memories. The problem it’s only half the cultivation methods and the evil cultivator says he got the last laugh because with only half the full cultivation methods he will die unless he cultivates to a high realm. The mc uses his new evil techniques and turn his ex girlfriend into a old woman, curses the rich guy into a coma. I am then confused because the mc says I am not a thief I won’t steal, so know he uses his evil powers to earn money as a bodyguard for rich people and doing jobs? Another thing that is off putting is the mc is a push over and lets women put him down, mc goes to the cemetery to absorb evil spirits a rich young woman sees him and attacks him when she can’t win orders her bodyguards to get him, then we find out mc is freeloading off his mothers friend and the daughter of the mother friend tears into him saying he is freeloading off her mother and he should leave the ex girlfriend (the one he made a old woman), because he is poor and she can do so much better then him.
