Originally, Cheese had planned to take Li Yelai to train in the technique of Spiritual Barrier Aerial Stepping.

"Yeah, Skin Stripping was killed because he didn't cough up five hundred Giant City Coins," Li Yelai said solemnly.

This left the young man completely shocked: "So it was you who robbed Skin Stripping?"

Upon hearing this, Cheese chuckled quietly, while the other newbies stifled their laughter, and even the instructor's lips twitched.

There seemed to be a feeling that they had brought a somewhat slow-witted newbie.

The instructor's recruits totaled four, two men and two women.

The oldest was the spiritual eyes user, once a private detective, who had joined the Disaster Processing Department after manifesting his abilities, and was known by the codename 'Detective'.

There was also a pair of twin siblings, who had just graduated from high school a few months ago and had both become Spiritual Ability Users. They were discovered by officials and invited to join.

The brother belonged to the Zero Path, codenamed 'Starfire'. The sister belonged to the Netherworld Path, codenamed 'Shadow Stream'.

It was 'Starfire' who had struck up a conversation with Li Yelai, showing a bit of youthful impetus.

Following that, the instructor took out his earpiece and contacted the support staff to inquire about the apartment's residents.
