D22. Grandpa_3

The little girl tilted her head, seemingly puzzled by her own question.

"Where are the guards?" The Hero turned to look behind and saw the guards walking with the coachman toward the toll booth at the inn.

"They went with the coachman to pay, since the two Chocobos ran fast, we decided to rent his carriage to head straight to the border.

"In that case, we'll save several days, and staying here as guests will definitely be more than enough."

The little girl counted on her fingers, calculating an exceedingly generous result.

"Or is it that Sister Hero, you don't welcome me?" After counting, she looked up at the Hero with a bit of worry.

"Of course not, it's just..." The Hero sighed in relief and then fell silent.

She still didn't know if her grandfather would be willing to accept her.

"How could they leave you here alone?" Unable to directly respond to the little girl, the Hero changed the subject.

"Isn't having Sister Hero enough?" The little girl giggled.
