"Fine," he groused after a few moments. He noticed her shaking was starting to increase. "Do you need to lie down?" he asked, walking over to her.
"Don't touch me. Stay away from me!" she growled. Eldon did as she asked. The girl was starting to make him worry. What was wrong with her?
"What time is it?" she asked him again when the car stopped. Her voice was just above a whisper.
"11:56," he told her.
"Hurry," she said, still keeping her voice down. He got out of the car, and offered to help her, but she only glared at him. He'd never noticed how dark her eyes were before. Hadn't they been blue this morning?
Eldon left his phone behind, before they moved to the elevator. The doors opened as soon as she pressed the button. She moved to the furthest corner away from him as they rode it up.
"What's wrong with you?" Eldon demanded. Now that they were this far, he expected some answers.
